    This thesis presents the Automatic Guitar Tuner, a new device to help musicians to tune guitars effectively. The device is composed of two main parts: Frequence Analysing and String Adjusting. Frequence analysing job can be done by any tuner on the market. It is very easy to find a tuner to understand the notes of strings. Thus the most important point is string adjusting part. This part consists of a combination of mechanical components and electronic circuits. It is not necessary to make any circuit to analyse frequency in this project. Cherub wst-550c metro-tuner is chosen for this job because of its price and performance. String adjusting is highly complicated job because of its mechanic part and integration of its components. Construction phase and all used equipments are described in 3rd Chapter. test phase an and test results are presented in 5th Chapter. Test results show that the device has enough accuracy and using this device makes easier tuning job.
