These fluids have numerous applications in medical science such as cell separation, targeting of drugs, magnetic resonance imaging, etc. The hybrid nanofluid is composed by scattering the magnetic nanomaterial of more than one type nanoparticles suspended into the base fluid. It has different scientific applications such as heat dissipation, dynamic sealing, damping, etc. Owing to the vast ferrofluid applications, the time-dependent squeezed flow of hybrid ferroliquids under the impact of non-linear radiation and mixed convection within two disks was explored for the first time in this analysis. Here, the cobalt and magnetite ferrofluids are considered and scattered in a 50%:50% mixture of water-EG (ethylene glycol). The similarity technique is used to reduce the leading PDEs into coupled non-linear ODEs. The transmuted equations together with recommended boundary restrictions are numerically solved via Matlab solver bvp4c. The opposing and assisting flows are considered. The impacts of an emerging parameter on fluid velocity and temperature field of hybrid ferroliquids are examined through the different graphical aids. The results showed that the opposite trend is scrutinized due to the magnetic influence on the temperature and velocity in the case of assisting and opposing flows. The velocity augments due to the volume fraction of nanoparticles in the assisting flow and declines in the opposing flow, while the opposite direction is noticed in the temperature field.Article Citation - WoS: 1Citation - Scopus: 1Analysis of Positive Measure Reducibility for Quasi-Periodic Linear Systems Under Brjuno-Russmann Condition(Amer inst Mathematical Sciences-aims, 2022) Ismaeel, Tariq; Ahmad, Riaz; Khan, Ilyas; Baleanu, Dumitru; Afzal, MuhammadIn this article, we discuss the positive measure reducibility for quasi-periodic linear systems close to a constant which is defined as: dx/dt = (A(lambda) + Q(phi, lambda))x, (phi) over dot = omega, where omega is a Brjuno vector and parameter lambda is an element of (a, b). The result is proved by using the KAM method, Brjuno-Russmann condition, and non-degeneracy condition.Article Citation - WoS: 11Citation - Scopus: 12Unsteady Nano-Bioconvective Channel Flow With Effect of Nth Order Chemical Reaction(de Gruyter Poland Sp Z O O, 2020) Basir, Md Faisal Md; Naganthran, Kohilavani; Azhar, Ehtsham; Mehmood, Zaffar; Mukhopadhyay, Swati; Nazar, Roslinda; Khan, Ilyas; Md Basir, Md FaisalNanofluid bioconvective channel flow is an essential aspect of the recent healthcare industry applications, such as biomedical processing systems. Thus, the present work examined the influence of nth order chemical reaction in an unsteady nanofluid bioconvective channel flow in a horizontal microchannel with expanding/contracting walls. The suitable form of the similarity transformation is exercised to transform the governing boundary layer equations into a more straightforward form of system to ease the computation process. The Runge-Kutta method of fifth-order integration technique solved the reduced boundary layer system and generated the numerical results as the governing parameters vary. It is found that the destructive second-order chemical reaction enhances the mass transfer rate at the lower wall but deteriorates the mass transfer rate at the upper wall. The upper channel wall has a better heat transfer rate than the lower wall when the Reynolds number increases.Article Citation - WoS: 2Citation - Scopus: 2Standard Routine Techniques of Modeling of Tick-Borne Encephalitis(de Gruyter Poland Sp Z O O, 2020) Arooj, Aroosa; Yasmin, Nusrat; Ghaffar, Abdul; Baleanu, Dumitru; Nisar, Kottakkaran Sooppy; Khan, Ilyas; Akram, SaimaTick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is a flaviviral vector-borne disease, which is spread by a tick named Ixodes persulcatus in domestic animals as well as in humans. In this article, susceptible, exposed, infected, recovered model; with no immunity after getting recovered is taken. The only possible immunity is before getting the disease (in our model). The vaccination details are also discussed in the article. Hence, SEIS (susceptible, exposed, infected and again susceptible with zero removal from the specie compartment) is used to construct a mathematical model of TBE. TBE is acute inflammation of the brain parenchyma. After becoming viral in European states and some Asian countries, especially in China, this is an emerging viral disease in Pakistan. After constructing a model, formula for the basic reproduction number R-0-like threshold has been derived by using the next-generation matrix method. The formula for R-0-like threshold is used to evaluate whether the disease is going to be outbroken in the respective area from which the specific data are taken into consideration. The main motivation behind selection of this topic is to address the unawareness of this disease specifically in Pakistan and in its neighboring countries when there persists probability for the outbreak of this disease. Some equilibrium points and their local stability is also discussed. Numerical computations and graphs are also presented to validate the results.Article Citation - WoS: 6Citation - Scopus: 5Second Law Analysis of Magneto Radiative Go-mos2/H2o-(ch2oh)2 Hybrid Nanofluid(Tech Science Press, 2021) Khan, Umar; Ahmed, Naveed; Mohyud-Din, Syed Tauseef; Baleanu, Dumitru; Nisar, Kottakkaran Sooppy; Khan, Ilyas; AdnanEntropy Generation Optimization (EGO) attained huge interest of scientists and researchers due to its numerous applications comprised in mechanical engineering, air conditioners, heat engines, thermal machines, heat exchange, refrigerators, heat pumps and substance mixing etc. Therefore, the study of radiative hybrid nanofluid (GO-MoS2/C2H6O2-H2O) and the conventional nanofluid (MoS2/C2H6O2-H2O) is conducted in the presence of Lorentz forces. The flow configuration is modeled between the parallel rotating plates in which the lower plate is permeable. The models which govern the flow in rotating system are solved numerically over the domain of interest and furnished the results for the temperature, entropy generation and thermophysical characteristics of the hybrid as well as conventional nanofluids, respectively. It is examined that the thermal profile intensifies against stronger thermal radiations and magnetic field. The surface of the plate is heated due to the imposed thermal radiations and magnetic field which cause the increment in the temperature. It is also observed that the temperature declines against more rotating plates. Further, the entropy production increases for more dissipative effects and declines against more magnetized fluid. Thermal conductivities of the hybrid nanofluid enhances promptly in comparison with regular liquid therefore, under consideration hybrid nanofluid is reliable for the heat transfer. Moreover, dominating thermal transport is perceived for the hybrid nanofluid which showed that hybrid suspension GO-MoS2/C2H6O2-H2O is better for industrial, engineering and technological uses.
