The edge and corner diffracted fields are obtained from the stationary phase and edge point evaluations of the line integral. A new corner diffraction coefficient is derived. The exact solution of Maliuzhinets is used with this aim. The resultant integral is applied to the diffraction of waves by a circular junction between two impedance surfaces. The function is valid for arbitrary aspects of observation. The line integration of these functions gives the total scattered fields.
