Alternative Approaches To the Spectral Quantitative Resolution of Two-Component Mixture by Wavelet Families
(Soc Chilena Quimica, 2009) Dinc, Erdal; Baleanu, Dumitru; Arslan, Fahrettin; Baleanu, Dumitru; Matematik
A new spectral continuous wavelet transform (CWT) methods are proposed for the quantitative analysis of the binary mixtures. The simultaneous spectral resolution of binary mixtures and tablets containing paracetamol (PAR) and chloroxozone (CHL) with overlapping absorption spectra is performed by six wavelet families with no chemical separation procedure. The calibration graphs for the six wavelet families are obtained by the help of the data collected from the CWT-signal amplitudes corresponding to the zero crossing points in the spectral range of 210 nm-310 nm. The validation of each wavelet family is carried out by analyzing various synthetic binary mixtures of the above mentioned drugs. The second derivative spectrophotometry (D2) is used to compare the experimental results provided by the analyzed continuous wavelet families and a good coincidence is reported for the proposed analytical approaches.

Fractional Calculus and the Schrödinger Equation
    (IFAC Secretariat, 2006) Baleanu, D.; Mainardi, F.; Mura, A.; Scalas, E.
In this paper, a derivation of the fractional Schrödinger equation is presented for the simple case of a pure diffusive process with dissipation. The Gaussian white noise is replaced by more general kinds of white noise and both the Markovian both the Markovian (β = 1) and non-Markovian case (0 < β < 1) are considered. Copyright © 2006 IFAC.

The Hamilton-Jacobi Treatment of Front-Form Schwinger Model
(World Scientific Publ Co Pte Ltd, 2002) Gulerz, Yurdahan; Baleanu, Dumitru; Güler, Yurdahan
The Hamilton-Jacobi formalism was applied to quantize the front-form Schwinger model. The importance of the surface term is discussed in detail. The BRST-anti-BRST symmetry was analyzed within Hamilton-Jacobi formalism.

A New Approach To Dynamic Finite-Size Scaling
(World Scientific Publ Co Pte Ltd, 2003) Gündüç, S; Aydin, M; Gündüç, Y; Dilaver, M
In this work we have considered the Taylor series expansion of the dynamic scaling relation of the magnetization with respect to small initial magnetization values in order to study the dynamic scaling behavior of two- and three-dimensional Ising models. We have used the literature values of the critical exponents and of the new dynamic exponent x(0) to observe the dynamic finite-size scaling behavior of the time evolution of the magnetization during early stages of the Monte Carlo simulation. For the three-dimensional Ising model we have also presented that this method opens the possibility of calculating z and x(0) separately. Our results show good agreement with the literature values. Measurements done on lattices with different sizes seem to give very good scaling.

Coset Algebras of the Maxwell-Einstein Supergravities
(Tubitak Scientific & Technological Research Council Turkey, 2006) Yılmaz, Nejat Tevfik
The general structure of the scalar cosets of the Maxwell-Einstein supergravities is given. Following an introduction of the non-linear coset formalism of the supergravity theories a comparison of the coset algebras of the Maxwell-Einstein supergravities in various dimensions is discussed.

Dualisation of the Symmetric Space Sigma Model With Couplings
(Elsevier Science Bv, 2005) Dereli, T; Yilmaz, NT
The first-order formulation of the G/K symmetric space sigma model of the scalar cosets of the supergravity theories is discussed when there is coupling of (m - 1)-form matter fields. The Lie superalgebra which enables the dualized coset formulation is constructed for a general scalar coset G/K with matter coupling where G is a non-compact real form of a semi-simple Lie group and K is its maximal compact subgroup. Multi-Hamilton Quantization of O(3) Nonlinear Sigma Model
(World Scientific Publ Co Pte Ltd, 2001) Baleanu, D; Güler, W
The O(3) nonlinear sigma model is investigated using multi-Hamilton-Jacobi formalism. The integrability conditions are investigated and the results are in agreement with those obtained by Dirac's method. By choosing an adequate extension of phase space we describe the transformed system by a set of three Hamilton-Jacobi equations and calculate the corresponding action.

Hamiltonian Formulation of Systems With Linear Velocities Within Riemann-Liouville Fractional Derivatives
(Academic Press inc Elsevier Science, 2005) Muslih, SI; Baleanu, D; Avkar, T.
The link between the treatments of constrained systems with fractional derivatives by using both Hamiltonian and Lagrangian formulations is studied. It is shown that both treatments for systems with linear velocities are equivalent. (c) 2004 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
