Multi-Chaos, Fractal and Multi-Fractional Artificial Intelligence of Different Complex Systems
    (Elsevier, 2022) Moonis, M.; Baleanu, D.; Zhang, Y.-D.; Gervasi, O.; Karaca, Y.
Multi-Chaos, Fractal and Multi-Fractional Artificial Intelligence of Different Complex Systems addresses different uncertain processes inherent in the complex systems, attempting to provide global and robust optimized solutions distinctively through multifarious methods, technical analyses, modeling, optimization processes, numerical simulations, case studies as well as applications including theoretical aspects of complexity. Foregrounding Multi-chaos, Fractal and Multi-fractional in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the edited book deals with multi- chaos, fractal, multifractional, fractional calculus, fractional operators, quantum, wavelet, entropy-based applications, artificial intelligence, mathematics-informed and data driven processes aside from the means of modelling, and simulations for the solution of multifaceted problems characterized by nonlinearity, non-regularity and self-similarity, frequently encountered in different complex systems. The fundamental interacting components underlying complexity, complexity thinking, processes and theory along with computational processes and technologies, with machine learning as the core component of AI demonstrate the enabling of complex data to augment some critical human skills. Appealing to an interdisciplinary network of scientists and researchers to disseminate the theory and application in medicine, neurology, mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, information theory, engineering, computer science, social sciences and other far-reaching domains, the overarching aim is to empower out-of-the-box thinking through multifarious methods, directed towards paradoxical situations, uncertain processes, chaotic, transient and nonlinear dynamics of complex systems. © 2022 Elsevier Inc. Fixed Point Theory in Generalized Metric Spaces
(2022) Karapınar, Erdal; Agarwal, Ravi P.
This book presents fixed point theory, one of the crucial tools in applied mathematics, functional analysis, and topology, which has been used to solve distinct real-world problems in computer science, engineering, and physics. The authors begin with an overview of the extension of metric spaces. Readers are introduced to general fixed-point theorems while comparing and contrasting important and insignificant metric spaces. The book is intended to be self-contained and serves as a unique resource for researchers in various disciplines.

Fractional Calculus: Models and Numerical Methods: Second Edition
(World Scientific Publishing Co. Pte. Ltd., 2016) Diethelm, K.; Scalas, E.; Trujillo, J.J.; Baleanu, D.
This book will give readers the possibility of finding very important mathematical tools for working with fractional models and solving fractional differential equations, such as a generalization of Stirling numbers in the framework of fractional calculus and a set of efficient numerical methods. Moreover, we will introduce some applied topics, in particular fractional variational methods which are used in physics, engineering or economics. We will also discuss the relationship between semi-Markov continuous-time random walks and the space-time fractional diffusion equation, which generalizes the usual theory relating random walks to the diffusion equation. These methods can be applied in finance, to model tick-by-tick (log)-price fluctuations, in insurance theory, to study ruin, as well as in macroeconomics as prototypical growth models. All these topics are complementary to what is dealt with in existing books on fractional calculus and its applications. This book will keep in mind the trade-off between full mathematical rigor and the needs of readers coming from different applied areas of science and engineering. In particular, the numerical methods listed in the book are presented in a readily accessible way that immediately allows the readers to implement them on a computer in a programming language of their choice. The second edition of the book has been expanded and now includes a discussion of additional, newly developed numerical methods for fractional calculus and a chapter on the application of fractional calculus for modeling processes in the life sciences. © 2017 by World Scientific Publishing Co. Optimal Approximation and Pricing of High- Dimensional Options
(Lambert Academic Publishing, 2019) Kushpel, Alexander
The book introduces an original general approach to the problem of multidimensional pricing which is applicable for a wide range of practically important examples. It gives a comprehensive and self-contained treatment of the problem of multidimensional pricing which provides the reader with all technical details. The book reflects a new stage of research in Quantitative Finance. It gives a particular fascination when apparently disjoint areas turn out to have a meaningful connection to each other. It demonstrates on concrete examples deep connections between Quantitative Finance and Numerical Analysis, Topology, Functional Analysis and Complexity Theory. The book can be considered as an inspirational source for practitioners, graduate and postgraduate students, MSc and PhD projects, to those working in Quantitative Finance and Economics.
