In this paper, we propose a deterministic mathematical model to investigate the effect of media coverage on the transmission and control of Middle Eastern respiratory syndrome coronavirus disease. In order to do this we develop model formulation. Basic reproduction number R-0 will be calculated from the model to assess the transmissibility of the (MERS-CoV). We discuss the existence of backward bifurcation for some range of parameters. We also show stability of the model to figure out the stability condition and impact of media coverage. We show a special case of the model for which the endemic equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. Finally all the theoretical results will be verified with the help of numerical simulation for easy understanding.Article Citation - WoS: 16Citation - Scopus: 16Comparative Application of Wavelet Approaches To Absorption and Ratio Spectra for the Simultaneous Determination of Diminazene Aceturate and Phenazone in Veterinary Granules for Injection(Govi-verlag Pharmazeutischer verlag Gmbh, 2005) Dinç, E; Baleanu, Dumitru; Kanbur, M; Baleanu, D; MatematikA comparison of two wavelet approaches, Daubechies and reverse Biorthogonal, is described for the quantitative resolution of a binary mixture of diminazene aceturate (DIMA) and phenazone (PHE) in veterinary granules for injection without any chemical separation. These two approaches were specified as db4 (a = 180) and rbior3.7 (a = 125) respectively, after testing the signal analysis parameters for the overlapping absorption spectra and ratio spectra. In the first step db4 (a = 180) was applied to the original absorbance data vector of DIMA and PHE. In the second step rbio3.7 (a = 125) was applied to the ratio spectra data vectors of DIMA using the divisor PHE. The same approach was also subjected to the ratio spectra of PHE using the divisor DIMA. The db4 (a = 180) and rbior3.7 (a = 125) calibration graphs were constructed using the transformation values obtained in the wavelet domain. In the method validation, the wavelet calibration functions were tested using synthetic mixtures and the standard addition technique. The simultaneous quantitative analysis of DIMA and PHE in the commercial veterinary preparation was achieved by the elaborated methods. The assay results were compared with each other and good agreement was observed.Article Citation - WoS: 13Citation - Scopus: 14Continuous Wavelet Transformation Applied To the Simultaneous Quantitative Analysis of Two-Component Mixtures(Govi-verlag Pharmazeutischer verlag Gmbh, 2004) Dinç, E; Baleanu, Dumitru; Baleanu, D; Üstündag, Ö; Aboul-Enein, HY; MatematikIn this paper we developed a graphical method based on Haar (HA) and Mexican (MEX) one-dimensional continuous wavelet transforms and we applied it to a mixture of hydrochlorothiazide (HCT) and spironolactone (SP) in the presence of strongly overlapping signals. Keeping in mind to obtain an appropriately transformed spectrum, we tested several values of the scaling parameter a and the point number of the analysed spectrum in the concentration range of 2-22 mug/ml for both active compounds. The optimal values of the scale parameters and the corresponding frequencies were found to be a = 32 and 0.031 for HA and a = 30 and 0.008 for MEX corresponding to 400 points. HA and MEX methods based on a zero crossing technique were applied to the analysed signal and their regression lines at the selected points were obtained. The validation of the above methods was carried out by analysing different synthetic mixtures containing HCT and SP. MATLAB 6.5. Software was used for one-dimensional wavelet analysis and the basic concepts about wavelet method were briefly explained. The method developed in this paper is rapid, easy to apply, inexpensive and is suitable for analysing the overlapping signals of compounds in their mixtures without any chemical pre-treatment.Article Citation - WoS: 8Citation - Scopus: 8Continuous Wavelet Transform Applied To the Quantitative Analysis of a Binary Mixture(Revista Chimie Srl, 2009) Dinc, Erdal; Baleanu, Dumitru; Baleanu, Dumitru; Üstündag, Ö; Aboul-Enein, HY; MatematikSignal processing methods, continuous wavelet transform (CWT) methods, were proposed for the simultaneous spectral determination of ampicillin sodium (AS) and sulbactam sodium (SS) in their synthetic binary mixtures and pharmaceutical preparations. Firstly, the ratio spectra were obtained by dividing the absorption spectra of a pure compound and its binary mixture by a standard spectrum of one of the compounds in binary mixture. Secondly, the ratio spectra of AS, SS and their samples were processed by the Mexican hat-CWT and Symtles3-CWT (MEX-CWT and SYM3-CWT, respectively). hi this application, the MEX and SYM3 among wavelet families were found to be optimal to obtain the highest spectral recoveries. Calibration graphs of AS and SS in the linear concentration range of 10-70 mu g/mL and 10-55 mu g/mL were obtained by measuring the amplitudes of the transformed ratio signals, respectively. Percent mean recoveries obtained by application of the CWT methods to the synthetic mixtures were found between 99.1 % and 103.6 %. It is more flexible and reliable as it considers the further classification of parameters into their relevant parametric valued sets. In this paper, we proposed some trigonometric (cosine and cotangent) similarity measures and their weighted trigonometric similarity measures (SMs). Trigonometric Similarity measures (SMs) for intuitionistic fuzzy hypersoft sets (IFHSSs) are significantly implied to check the similarity measures and help to determine the similarity between different factors. Also, in order to evaluate the validity of the significant study and apply the results to a daily life problem. We use them to solve problems involving the selection of renewable energy sources. According to several technical contributing factors, the analysis identifies the ideal location for the implementation of the energy production units. Future case studies with many features and additional bifurcation along with multiple decision-makers can use the suggested methodologies. To improve nanoparticles stability, the gyrotactic microorganisms is consider to maintain the stability and avoid possible sedimentation. The goal of this report is to propose a model of nanoparticles aggregation characteristics, which is responsible to effectively state the nanofluid viscosity and thermal conductivity. The implementation of the similarity transforQ1m to a mathematical model relying on normal conservation principles yields a related set of partial differential equations. A well-known computational scheme the FEM is employed to resolve the partial equations implemented in MATLAB. It is seen that when the effect of nanoparticles aggregation is considered, the temperature distribution is enhanced because of aggregation, but the magnitude of velocities is lower. Thus, showing the significance impact of aggregates as well as demonstrating themselves as helpful theoretical tool in future bioengineering and industrial applications.Article -Simultaneous chemometric determination of pyridoxine hydrochloride and isoniazid in tablets bymultivariate regression methods(Wiley-Blackwell, 2010) Dinç, Erdal; Üstündağ, Ögür; Baleanu, DumitruThe sole use of pyridoxine hydrochloride during treatment of tuberculosis gives rise to pyridoxine deficiency. Therefore, a combination of pyridoxine hydrochloride and isoniazid is used in pharmaceutical dosage form in tuberculosis treatment to reduce this side effect. In this study, two chemometric methods, partial least squares (PLS) and principal component regression (PCR), were applied to the simultaneous determination of pyridoxine (PYR) and isoniazid (ISO) in their tablets. A concentration training set comprising binary mixtures of PYR and ISO consisting of 20 different combinations were randomly prepared in 0.1 M HCl. Both multivariate calibration models were constructed using the relationships between the concentration data set (concentration data matrix) and absorbance data matrix in the spectral region 200-330 nm. The accuracy and the precision of the proposed chemometric methods were validated by analyzing synthetic mixtures containing the investigated drugs. The recovery results obtained by applying PCR and PLS calibrations to the artificial mixtures were found between 100.0 and 100.7%. Satisfactory results obtained by applying the PLS and PCR methods to both artificial and commercial samples were obtained. The results obtained in this manuscript strongly encourage us to use them for the quality control and the routine analysis of the marketing tablets containing PYR and ISO drugs. A slippery heated surface is used to test the flow and thermal transport properties of P-EHNF nanofluid. This investigation will also examine the effects of nano solid tubes morphologies, porosity materials, Cattaneo-Christov heat flow, and radiative flux. Predominant flow equations are written as partial differential equations (PDE). To find the solution, the PDEs were transformed into ordinary differential equations (ODEs), then the Keller box numerical approach was used to solve the ODEs. Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) using Engine Oil (EO) as a base fluid are studied in this work. The flow, temperature, drag force, Nusselt amount, and entropy measurement visually show significant findings for various variables. Notably, the comparison of P-EHNF's (MWCNT-SWCNT/EO) heat transfer rate with conventional nanofluid (SWCNT-EO) results in ever more significant upsurges. Spherical-shaped nano solid particles have the highest heat transport, whereas lamina-shaped nano solid particles exhibit the lowest heat transport. The model's entropy increases as the size of the nanoparticles get larger. A similar effect is seen when the radiative flow and the Prandtl-Eyring variable-II are improved.
