Abstract
The scattering problem of plane waves by a planar junction between conductive and impedance half-screens is investigated. The problem is solved by using the method of transition boundary. The edge diffracted waves are expressed in terms of Fresnel function in order to obtain the uniform field expressions. The behaviors of the scattered waves are studied numerically.
